Trail Blazer Greg Oden to Undergo Tonsillectomy
Portland Trail Blazers center Greg Oden is scheduled to undergo a
tonsillectomy to have his tonsils removed on Saturday, July 14.
Dr. Don Newell will perform the procedure at The Vancouver Clinic in
Vancouver, Wash., and recovery time is expected to be between two and three
weeks.
“Greg felt that this was the right decision to make in the interests of his
health, and we support that decision 100 percent,” said Trail Blazers
general manager Kevin Pritchard. “The sooner he gets the procedure done, the
sooner he can get back on the court at full strength.”
Oden will miss the remainder of the 2007 NBA Summer League and will not
participate in the USA Basketball Men’s Senior National Team training camp
which is being held July 20th-22nd in Las Vegas.

Oden決定在美國時間7/14那一天動扁桃腺移除手術，
