We showed a lot of good qualities tonight. I am happy with the performance of the team but angry at the way we have been eliminated. It was a legitimate goal (by Akira Kaji) and a goal makes a lot of difference but we have played well in this Confederations Cup – against Greece we had a lot of good chance and tonight too but we are out. We missed chances that would have won us the game against Mexico and against Japan today. Especially in the first half today we had opportunities to finish off the game. We wanted to see some players who had not played before and we left key players at home like Cafu and Roberto Carlos. Instead we’ve taken a look at players like Cicinho, Gilberto and Leo. This competition is very important to Germany and they rested some good players in their last match. They also have a day extra to rest. We have to think a lot about our lineup because some of our players are exhausted.
