http://0rz.tw/kzIDt Monday’s midnight deadline for signing 2010 draftees didn’t really come into play for a Braves organization that signed a vast majority of its early-round picks within two weeks of the draft, including supplemental first-round pick Matt Lipka the day after he was drafted. The Braves have signed 27 of their first 31 picks in the top 30 rounds (including Lipka in the supplemental round) and 34 of their 51 picks overall. Among the few they hadn’t signed and weren’t expected to sign heading into Monday’s deadline were Stefan Sabol, a catcher signed with the University of Oregon, and Zach Alvord, a second baseman from South Forsyth, who is signed with Auburn.
