Mar 23:It appears that Villanueva will be the odd man out and start the
season at Triple-A Nashville, according to the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.
Recommendation: Nothing is official at this point, but Claudio Vargas is out
of options and it's not likely that the Brewers would send Dave Bush to the
minors. That leaves Manny Parra and Villanueva for one rotation spot and
Parra is simply a better pitcher. The rotation will get even tighter when
Yovanni Gallardo returns from the DL in mid-April so it may take some
injuries before Villanueva gets another shot.
