Wang loses first game in pitcher's duel
Chien-Ming Wang lost his first game of the year Wednesday vs. the Indians in
a pitcher's duel with Cliff Lee. Wang allowed three earned runs on five hits
and three walks with four strikeouts over seven innings.
Fantasy Analysis
Wang proved that he is human as he fell to 6-1. Still, the man who owns more
wins than any other pitcher since 2006 was solid on Wednesday, but was done
in by timely hitting. With a 3.12 ERA, a1.13 WHIP, and 36 strikeouts through
52 innings, the Taiwanese native has been one of the American League's best
pitchers. Look for him to rebound in his next start on May 12 vs. the Rays.
