His : 2008 season was over. His attempted return to the Yankees' rotation in : the spring of 2009 was a disaster. It was said in many places : (including right here) that the Yankees mishandled Wang's rehab by not : allowing him to keep his legs in shape as the lisfranc healed. By the : end of 2009, Wang was released. He was signed by the Washington : Nationals for 1 year and spent all of 2010 in rehab. He was re-signed : by the Nats for the 2011 season. Finally last month he was ready to : pitch in real ballgames. From then until now he has started 5 games in : A, AA and AAA levels. Here are his 2011 stats. Overall, Wang, now 31, : has pitched reasonably well. He is expected to make one more AAA start : next Monday and might make his return to the MLB after that. : BTW... his start Monday will be in Scranton/Wilkes-Barre, against the : Yankees AAA affiliate.
