The Amaranto ace has been associated with the demoted Serie B club, but Carlo Pallavicino has looked to cool the rumours. “Playing for Juve would be a fascinating challenge, totally in line with Cristiano's fierce spirit, but there are no conversations underway at the moment,” Pallavicino told the GRT news agency. “I personally believe Lucarelli could be the right man for the Juventus attack, because of his technical characteristics. “However, Lucarelli becoming the new Bianconeri forward is an entirely different matter. “It is my understanding that there has been contact between the clubs, but no formal negotiation has been started, from what I know,” added the agent. “I have personally not spoken to any Juventus official in the past two weeks.” Livorno Coach Daniele Arrigoni is instead convinced that the 31-year-old forward will stay after his proposed transfer to Zenit Saint Petersburg collapsed. “I don't think Cristiano will leave this summer, especially after refusing an important offer like the one from Zenit.
