Fixtures date finally set

The Serie A and Serie B fixtures for the new season
will finally be drawn up in Rome on Wednesday August 30.
義甲乙賽程八月三十日在羅馬抽籤決定。
New Italian Football League chief Antonio Matarrese
confirmed the news this evening following a Lega Calcio meeting.
The divisional calendars were delayed by the Calciopoli scandal
which also subsequently led to a postponement to the start of the season.
The 2006-07 campaign was set to start on August 26,
but will now kick off on the weekend of September 9 and 10.
