De Biasi didn't expect chop

Gianni De Biasi says he was shocked to hear that he had been
fired by Torino. “I'm disappointed,” he stated.
The tactician was officially axed this morning after
a week of speculation which suggested that he had fallen out with
President Urbano Cairo.
Torino主教練 De Biasi今早正式被開除，據猜測他跟主席 Cairo不和。
“I heard the news last night at 23.30,” the former Brescia man
told the Nesti Channel website.
De Biasi說：「我在昨晚十一點半才聽到這個消息。」
“I was having dinner with my staff when Cairo called and told me
that he didn't like the way I was managing the team and
that he would fire me.
「Cairo打電話來的時候我正在跟工作團隊吃晚餐，
他告訴我他不喜歡我管理球隊的方式，他要開除我。」
“But I never had any disagreement with Cairo and
that is why this situation disappoints me even more,”
continued the man who will be replaced by Alberto Zaccheroni.
「不過我從沒有跟 Cairo有過任何不和，這就是為什麼我甚至更失望的原因。」
“I think our defeat at Alessandria was the last straw.
Cairo really wanted to do well in his hometown and was very disappointed.”
「我認為我們輸給 Alessandria是最後一根稻草，
Cairo真的想為自己的家鄉做好一切，因此非常失望。」

De Biasi's assistant Igor Charalambopoulos and
goalkeeping Coach Vinicio Bisioli were also sacked,
but Paolo Artico and Francesco Siepi will continue their work
as physical trainers.
De Biasi的助理教練 Charalambopoulos、守門員教練 Bisioli也都被炒了，
不過體能訓練師 Artico、Siepi留任。
President Cairo said he was saddened by the decision he had to take,
but insists that a change of Coach was necessary.
Cairo說對自己的決定感到哀傷，不過堅持換帥是必需的。
“I felt De Biasi was not able to manage the project I have in mind
for Torino,” Cairo stated. “I can guarantee this has nothing to do
with his alleged complaint about our summer signings.
他說：「我覺得 De Biasi無法掌控我心中對 Torino的計畫，
我保證這跟他被傳言說抱怨今夏轉會之事沒有任何關係。」
“I began my adventure with Toro in Serie B with De Biasi,
so I am sorry he has to leave. I don't want to add any details that
could be misinterpreted. I will say all I have to say later in the day.”
「我跟 De Biasi在 Torino從義乙開始這場冒險，所以我很遺憾他必須離開，

New Coach Zaccheroni will be officially unveiled to the media
in Turin this afternoon, as he prepares to face his first job
since leaving Inter in 2004.

Rumours suggest that director general Doriano Tosi may also be close to
leaving the Granata club – just three months following his arrival.
