The two players had already been rumoured to be joining the Biancocelesti, but the confirmation came straight from President Claudio Lotito. “Scaloni and Meghni are two new Lazio players,” he told Radio Radio this evening. Lotito 說：「Scaloni、Meghni 是兩名 Lazio 的新球員了。」 “Scaloni will be the first choice full-back, so Manuel Belleri can be loaned elsewhere and remain a part of Lazio's wider squad. 「Scaloni 將會是首選的邊後衛，所以 Belleri 可以被租借出去。」 “This means that Valon Behrami can return to his favoured midfield position, as he was none too happy in defence.” 「這也表示 Behrami 能回到他喜歡的中場位置，他打後衛不太開心。」 Swiss international Behrami had been switched to right-back to cover for Massimo Oddo following the January sale to Milan. 該瑞士國腳在 Oddo 轉會後被拿去當右後衛用。 Former West Ham and Racing Santander man Scaloni is equally versatile, as the Argentine can play in defence or further up the field.
