(都靈的新前鋒Di Michele將因為賭球案被禁賽三個月) The former Palermo player was amongst four players who were indicted by Federal Prosecutor Stefano Palazzi, who handed the cases of Di Michele, Massimo Margiotta, Thomas Manfredini and Vincenzo Sommese to the disciplinary commission in June. All the players involved presented a plea bargain and the commission handed out its verdict on Monday, opting for a three-month ban for the Granata striker. Sommese of Mantova will be sidelined for five months and 20 days, Margiotta will have to serve a four-month ban and Manfredini will face a three-month stop. (Sommese是五個月又二十天、Margiotta是四個月、Manfredini是三個月) Udinese, Vicenza and Mantova were also indicted for their objective responsibility, but the accusations against 13 other players, including world champion Vincenzo Iaquinta, had already been dropped. Vicenza and Mantova were handed ￡5,000 fines, while the Zebrette, who refused to bargain, will have to pay ￡10,000.
