The 35-year-old known as 'aeroplanino' or the little aeroplane is one of the few remaining players at Roma to have been a part of the side that won the Scudetto in 2001. He joined Roma from Sampdoria in 1999 and has an impressive goalscoring record in Giallorosso. Montella scored 94 goals in 215 appearances for the club. He has been idolised by Roma fans ever since he scored four goals in the derby against Lazio in a 5-1 win seven years ago.
