Milan were made to work hard by lowly Bologna on Sunday, but Leonardo’s
men eventually prevailed 1-0 at the San Siro courtesy of a fine solo goal
from Clarence Seedorf, and goalkeeper Marco Storari, who kept an important
clean sheet, has downplayed the struggles of the Rossoneri so far this term.

“I am happy with my save late on, as it would have been a shame to draw
this game after Milan pressed so much: it’s a deserved win,” he told
the club’s official website.

Having also beaten Marseille last week, these results will have gone some
way towards relieving the pressure on coach Leonardo after a poor start
to the domestic campaign, which included a humiliating loss to rivals
Inter and a disappointing stalemate against Livorno.
