Many people in the Italian media have doubted whether Palermo can be a
competitive force, without the services of their inspirational striker
Fabrizio Miccoli.

Miccoli scored the goal, which tied the match against Roma at 2-2 right
on the stroke of half time, in his club's most recent encounter that
