LeBron James, Tony Parker Earn Weekly Honors NEW YORK, Nov. 26, 2007 The Cleveland Cavaliers’ LeBron James and the San Antonio Spurs' Tony Parker today were named the Eastern and Western Conference Players of the Week, respectively, for games played Monday, Nov. 19 through Sunday, Nov. 25. James led the Cavaliers to a 3-1 week averaging 36.5 points, 9.5 rebounds and 8.5 assists. He became the first player since Bob Sura (April 9-10, 2004) to post triple-doubles on consecutive nights when he recorded 37 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in a win over Toronto on Nov. 24, and 30 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in a win at Indiana on Nov. 25. In each of the team’ s four games this week, James scored 30-plus points, including a season-high-tying 45 points on Nov. 21 at Minnesota. Parker led San Antonio to a 4-0 week by averaging 26.5 points, 3.0 rebounds and 8.3 assists. He set his season high with 32 points on Nov. 21 in a win over Orlando and twice tied his season high in assists after tallying nine on Nov. 20 at Atlanta and against Orlando on Nov 21. Here is a closer look at the week for James and Parker: LeBron James, Cleveland Cavaliers Nov. 20 vs. Milwaukee: Tallied 34 points, seven rebounds and seven assists in a 107-111 loss to the Bucks. Nov. 21 @ Minnesota: Poured in 45 points to go along with eight rebounds and five assists in a 97-86 win over the Timberwolves. Nov. 24 vs. Toronto: Collected 37 points, 12 rebounds and 12 assists in a 111-108 win over the Raptors. Nov. 25 @ Indiana: Notched 30 points, 11 rebounds and 10 assists in a 111-106 win over the Pacers. Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs Nov. 20 @ Atlanta: Posted 31 points and nine assists in a 95-83 win over the Hawks. Nov. 21 vs. Orlando: Tallied 32 points and nine assists in a 128-110 win over the Magic. Nov. 23 vs. Memphis: Registered 21 points, five rebounds and eight assists in a 101-88 win over the Grizzlies. Nov. 25 vs. Seattle: Collected 22 points, five rebounds and seven assists in a 116-101 win over the SuperSonics.
