Scal and TA would return just below 7.5 mil in trade using the 125% rule. Pruitt and Giddens are also possible expiring salary. The trade exceptions are useless then can't be combined or added to another trade, they are simply an exception to aquire a minimum salaried player which you can do anyhow, which is why Boston was able to trade them for nothing. Nocioni's contract is horrendous on top of that where does he play? You can't pay a guy 7 mil a year to play 20 mpg. He makes Walter McCarty look like MIchael Cage at the 4 spot you just can't do it. Guys under contract that it is possible to trade for and actually make some sense are Pryzbilla, Camby, Foster. There are guys like Gadzuric and Etan Thomas that I can't get too excited about and then guys like Haywood who are probably too good. There will be Jamal Crawford who as a player doesn't exactly look like a Celtic but can back up the 1 and the 2 add some size and shoot the 3 so in that sense he could replace Marbury and House and if you can get him into the defensive system you may have Ray's replacement in house. If Boston sent TA, Scal, Pruitt, and Giddens it would be enough, they could waive Pruitt and save 2.5 this season and it is all expiring so they get out of the 10 mil for next season. If nothing else the kid can shoot and score and doesn't turn the ball over a ton and has also shown he can do it coming off the bench.
