Przybilla, who would be another recently-injured Celtic, fits that need. He also scowls a lot, throws occasional elbows, and could probably pass for Kendrick Perkins if you were entirely color blind and just saw a hulking figure defending Boston’s basket. But the big fella isn’t sure whether he’ll even play this season, with reports saying he is leaning toward retirement. At the end of November, Przybilla told the Oregonian’s Jason Quick that he feels healthy but will only consider returning to the NBA if the right situation comes calling. “I can play. I feel great. This is the best my body has felt in a long, long time,’’ Przybilla said. “But I honestly don’t know if I will play. We’ll see. We’ll see what my options are.’’ “Honestly, this is the most happy I’ve been in a long time. I just had my first Halloween with my kids,’’ Przybilla said. “But there’s a side of me that doesn’t want to look back and regret that I didn’t play for one or two more years. Because I wake up now and my back doesn’t hurt, my knees don’t hurt, and I haven’t had that in a long time.’’ Is Boston the right situation? I don’t know. But the Celtics have a veteran team, hopes of moving deep into the playoffs and playing time available for any seven-footer with a heartbeat and working legs.
