BOSTON – The Boston Celtics today announced their 2012 preseason schedule, which will open on Friday, October 5, 2012 at the Ulker Sports Arena in Istanbul, Turkey against Fenerbahce Ulker as part of NBA Europe Live 2012. The Celtics will also play EA7 Emporio Armani Milano at the Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy on October 7 before returning to the United States. The eight game preseason line-up also includes contests against Atlantic division foes New York Knicks, Philadelphia 76ers and Brooklyn Nets. The Celtics will play two games at home at the TD Garden on October 16 against Brooklyn and October 21 against Philadelphia. The Celtics will take on the Knicks at the XL Center in Hartford, CT on October 13 and will also make their first visit to Brooklyn to take on the Nets on October 18 at the new Barclays Center. All Celtics preseason games can be seen on Comcast SportsNet New England and heard on the radio by tuning into WEEI 93.7 FM/ 850 AM. Tickets for Celtics preseason home games scheduled for the TD Garden will go on sale Thursday, September 13.
