Bruce Buck pays tribute to Ken Bates

Chelsea Village chairman Bruce Buck has said today: "We have received
a letter confirming the resignation of Ken Bates as chairman of Chelsea
Football Club."
"Ken has played an important and pivotal role in the development and
success of the club over the last 22 years which will always be recognised
by the club and its fans."
"The club has a new owner and a new chief executive, and these are
exciting times at Stamford Bridge. I am sure Ken will remain a fan and wish
the club all the best for the future, and we also wish him well."
