賽前形勢：卻爾西─熱刺
歐冠盃出局究竟令球員更積極爭取國內雙冠王，還是打擊了他們的自信？本週面
對的是本季表現突出的倫敦宿敵熱刺，將會是尋求上述問題的答案的大好機會。
在剛過去的兩週史坦福橋重舖了草皮。據卻爾西電視台的訪問表示，新草皮應足
夠下季整季使用。蘭帕德高興地表示這樣有助於球員發揮他們的傳球技術以及自信。
然而他本人在巴塞羅納一役中卻遭受輕傷：「球賽初段它〔腿部〕拉緊了一點，不是
在曾受傷的位置。比以前的位置高很多。我會在星期四、五接受按摩去試試星期六能

Jose Mourinho has reported a clean bill of health for his squad as
preparations are made to play a Tottenham side looking for their first
goal past Chelsea since he joined the club.
一支完全健康的球隊將面對熱刺的挑戰。
Talking straight after his players had trained for the first time on
a new, freshly-laid Stamford Bridge pitch, the Chelsea manager said:
“Everybody is fit. We don't have one single player injured. We had 24
players on the pitch training this afternoon. At this moment of the season
that is important."
球隊第一次在新舖的草皮上練球，24個人都很健康。 (這句話其實透漏著心酸...唉)
Arjen Robben begins his four-match suspension on Saturday but Michael
Essien is available again after a European ban kept him out midweek.

“We have ten matches in the Premiership. We hope we have three in the
FA Cup to play. The players have enough experience of life in football to
understand the next game is always the most important one. How many teams
in Europe would love to be in our situation? We have things to win. We

must not make it difficult for ourselves.”

Captain John Terry reiterated the need to forget Europe quickly and
concentrate on what is potentially an historic domestic season. He said:
“We are certainly disappointed to lose to Barcelona but we are still in a
fantastic position. We have a tough game against Spurs but this could
still be Chelsea's best season ever.”

Chelsea's 31 game unbeaten run in the league against Tottenham has
become one of the most famous sequences in football. Mourinho's own record
against our local rivals stands at two White Hart Lane victories and a 0-0
draw at the Bridge in his first encounter with them. It was following that
game that he introduced the phrase 'parking the bus in front of goal' into
English football parlance.

moment but at the same time a moment when his family will realise that the
Chelsea family love what Mr.Osgood did at this club.”

John Terry added: “I can't speak highly enough of him. A fantastic
man and I know he was an absolute legend as a player. He is very sorely
missed and we got on great. Over that last couple of years it has been so
nice to have people like Ossie, Ron Harris, the old players coming back
as if it is their home, and that is want it should be. Roman Abramovich
and the manager have brought that in.

“It will be a special day and hopefully we can get the win for Ossie.”
