Mourinho looks to maintain flawless Fulham record

Jose Mourinho's only selection concerns ahead of the SW6 derby on Sunday
revolve around Claude Makelele and Eidur Gudjohnsen. The Chelsea manager,
who is hoping to maintain a record against Fulham that reads three
Premiership and one Carling Cup win is optimistic that both will be
available.

“On Thursday we had 21 players to train. Fantastic! Everybody fit,” he
reports. “After that Gudjohnsen stayed at home with a temperature and
Makelele had a kick in a muscle. But I hope for Saturday's training
everybody will be back and ready for selection.”

Mourinho has for once enjoyed the luxury of no midweek game and no
international call-ups as he prepares for the weekend match.

“We have trained very well, we train properly, we have had a very good
week working on every aspect of our game. We still have nine matches to
play in the Premiership and we hope three in the Cup and we have to be at
a good level. We have to win matches and we want to finish well with the
Premiership and if possible, the double.
訓練非常順利。希望我們可以拿下雙冠。
“Since I arrive [at Chelsea], every game against Fulham has been a good
game. They play good football. They never want to play for a draw. They
always want to try to win matches. They always score goals so to beat them
you have to score goals and play well.”
這兩年跟富勒姆的比賽總是很棒，他們很有鬥志，想要贏他們必須進更多球。
Mourinho took time out after Friday's training to give words of
encouragement to one of his young players, Robert Huth, who has started
the last three Premiership games in central defence.
老大特別鼓勵胡特，最近三場英超比賽他都出任先發中衛。
“He is playing well. Of course he is very strong and well suited to
English football and he is getting much more confident in position, much
more comfortable with the ball. I think his evolution is clear to see. He
is a much better player than he was.”
胡特越打越好，也更加自信，他的進步是顯而易見的。
Arjen Robben will serve the second game of his four match suspension on
Sunday. Wayne Bridge cannot play against Chelsea under the terms of his
loan to Fulham.

Centre-back Zat Knight is an injury doubt for the Cottagers having come
off in their midweek game at Liverpool. Fulham manager Chris Coleman has
reported that midfielders Mark Pembridge and Michael Brown missed Friday
training but are expected to be fit. Not available however are midfielders
Claus Jensen, Papa Bouba Diop and Simon Elliot plus goalkeeper Antti Niemi.
