Scott Sinclair signs first professional contract with Chelsea
Teenage striker Scott Sinclair has signed his first professional contract
with Chelsea after turning seventeen this week. Scott has signed a
two-and-a-half year contract that will see him tied to the Stamford Bridge
club until the end of the 2007/8 season.
The lightning-quick front man joined the Premiership giants from Bristol
Rovers prior to the start of the season, having already made his first team
debut aged just fifteen.
Scott has begun his Chelsea career in blistering form with a number of fine
goalscoring performances and was delighted to become the latest young
professional at the club: "I am really enjoying my football at Chelsea so
its great news to be given my first pro contract. Things have gone really
well so far and I am really enjoying working with the coaches and the other
young players here."
