Jose Mourinho told Chelsea TV that John Terry will not play in the game at
Blackburn but that the injury is not bad. The gash at the bottom of his
ankle required only three stitches, not the ten reported in the media.
穆帥對媒體說特里將缺席星期二對布萊克本的比賽，但傷勢並不是太嚴重。關於腳踝
的那個傷口，只用縫3針，而不是媒體說的10針。
Jose said: “John Terry is not ready for sure, and against Newcastle, but
he is improving everyday and he will be ready physically to join the
national team on the first day, and I think mentally he can forget Chelsea
now for a couple of months and start to concentrate on England.”
特里確定不再參加聯賽餘下的比賽。但他每天都在努力的保持好的狀態並且為國家隊
的比賽準備。我想他能放心CHELSEA的餘下幾個月並且全身心的投入到國家隊中。
Club doctor Bryan English describes the treatment given to the captain on
the day. “We put two stitches in at half-time, then took them out at the
end and replaced them with three. In the second-half he also twisted his
ankle a little as well, so he actually had two injuries. He will have a
scan tomorrow, but I am not concerned about anything and expect him to be
fully fit for England.”
隊醫布萊恩表示在比賽那天在中場休息時已經是逢了兩針，然後在比賽的結束後把那
兩針拆了下來，又重新的縫了三針。在下半場特里的腳扭了一下，所以他其實受了兩
個傷，我將會在明天對他做一個詳細的檢查，我將會專心的為他的傷勢做最好的治療
，讓他可以全力的投入都英格蘭的比賽當中。
Jose also told Chelsea TV that Claude Makelele and Michael Essien require
rests in advance of the World Cup.
