Mancienne is captain of England Under 18s. Smith has been a regular this season for England Under 19s. Mancienne played for Chelsea Reserves when still a schoolboy. His first year as a scholar was ruined by injuries, but in this his second season his performances have been top class since November. Smith is in his third year since leaving school. In his second he failed to score any goals despite being an attacking midfielder, but having grown he has overcome a dislocated shoulder to have a very high-scoring season.
