Have trained in the venue for the opening pre-season game against the MLS
All-Stars. Jose Mourinho has spoken about his approach to the match and
his plans for a more attacking Chelsea.
跟明星隊怎麼打？ 老大決定排出更有攻擊性的陣容。
Toyota Park, the new purpose-built stadium for the Chicago Fire MLS side,
will host a sell-out 20,000 crowd and the two teams on Saturday. On Friday
evening, around 2,000 fans who had taken-up limited availability tickets
were in the stadium to watch Chelsea's final training session.
明星賽就在新蓋好的芝加哥熱火主場豐田公園開打，這個球場可以裝20000人。
Having waved Los Angeles goodbye and travelled the aerial equivalent of
Route 66 on Thursday evening, the players rested on Friday morning. Some
took the opportunity to stroll around downtown Chicago before embarking on
an hour-long coach journey to the Bridgeview suburb of the city.
週五早上來到芝加哥後，有些人就在城裡逛逛，隨後前往近郊的 Bridgeview。
The training session was an event — part of what is being called
All-Stars weekend. The players entered the pitch to a rousing announcement
and loud cheers before working to the strains of Coldplay and a myriad of
American rock acts over the PA.

If that was a little unusual, the stadium design was less so. If a
middle-ranking club in England had opened a similar new ground during the
last ten years, no-one would have been surprised.

At the end of training, time was taken out to sign autographs for those
who had attended. The on-pitch activity had been fairly relaxed. Jose
Mourinho explained why.
訓練結束後就是簽名活動，很輕鬆。
“Until now training has been very intense,” he said. “The players have
given everything from the first minute to the last. Yesterday we trained
only in the morning and this morning they had time to rest. This afternoon
the session wasn't massive, it was just to get used to the pitch and the
ball because we have trained with the Premiership ball.
目前為止訓練量都很大，這幾天因為飛來飛去的關係所以稍微小一點。
“Tomorrow I prefer the players to play high intensity football for 45
minutes rather than 90 minutes at jogging pace. There are some who could
play 90 minutes, those who started training with me on July 17th, but the
new people who just started training here in the US, I will use for 45
minutes.”
明天我們要踢45分鐘劇烈的足球而不是90分鐘的慢跑，7月17號歸隊的可以踢全場。
Mourinho explained that he intended to utilise all 16 senior players
during the game but only use the young ones in the party, the likes of
Michael Mancienne, Jimmy Smith, Ryan Bertrand, Yves Ma Kalambay and
Michael Woods, if need arises.
老大會派出16名成年球員，如果需要的話小朋友也會上。
The two planned formation structures for next season — the 4-3-3 and the
4-4-2 — will both be seen on Saturday and the Chelsea manager is
determined to try for the first time a new combination.
比賽中會使用433和442陣型。
“I will play Lampard and Ballack together,” he stated. “It is important
for me to do that. It is something we've worked on a lot this week. I
think people have a little bit of doubt - can they play together, will
there be competition between these players for a place?
老大要將蘭帕德和巴拉克同時派上場，證明他倆同時上場沒有問題。
“No! From the start the objective was to make Chelsea more offensive than
before and I have two very attacking players from the midfield together
and I want to play them together.
他們倆要讓卻爾西更富攻擊性。
“Lampard is ready to play between 75 and 90 minutes, Ballack just started
training a few days ago so will play only 45 minutes. I will try things.
Maybe you will not see the Chelsea you will see in the first Premiership
game but you can see and analyse already some of things we are working on.”
蘭帕德可能會打75-90分鐘，巴拉克則是45分鐘，要讓大家看到我們努力的成果。
Mourinho hopes and believes the MLS All-Stars will provide stiff
competition. They will attack and they will have mid-season fitness
superiority. Saturday's game is an important step in a sprint to peak
condition for Chelsea.
老大認為明星隊很難應付，畢竟他們處於季中。
“This is quite an experience for me because with the whole group I have
only 12 days pre-season. The big challenge for me and my staff is to prove
that you can prepare a team for competition in that time. I have to work
the team in a different way than before. We have just three matches before
the Community Shield which I will use as a preparation match. I cannot do
it another way.
我們只有12天來準備這場比賽，所以用了不一樣的訓練方法。
“We went to the States very focused because the players understood that
because of the World Cup, we have a disadvantage compared with opponents
who have already had four or five matches. That is why they caught every
minute of the training sessions.”
世界盃太麻煩，我們進度已經落後對手，因此更要抓緊訓練時間。
Shaun Wright-Phillips confirmed his manager's view. “I feel as fit as I
have done for a very long time,” said the player. “It is my first full
pre-season with the club and I have loved every minute of it. I'm just
raring to go. The tempo of training is very high and the standard of the
players sets the standard of the session.”
小賴特狀況上好，他也很喜歡這種強度的訓練。
