Chelsea Youth made it eight wins out of eight on Saturday morning by
beating the Group League winners of last season in a top class game on the
south coast. Two outstanding goals settled the result.
青年軍憑藉著兩記好球，客場2-1擊敗上賽季的小組冠軍聖徒南安普敦。
Manager Ruud Kaiser was delighted. “It was a really great game, tough, on
the edge. Both teams were fairly good.
教練路德˙凱薩認為兩隊都發揮得很出色，這是一場精采的比賽。
“Southampton were strong in certain parts of the team, they had a good
left-back, a good striker — Harry Worley did well against him — they
were a good team. Last week they beat Fulham 9-1.

“We go there after seven wins, and there is real danger. But our boys did
really well. I was very pleased. They were not big headed after seven
wins, they were focused. They really had to fight very hard.”

It was 0-0 at half-time. Both sides hade made chances. Shaun Cummings had
gone close and forced a couple of saves.

In goal, 18 years old Nick Hamann was making his first appearance of the
season after an infection had landed him in hospital in pre-season and
then he'd broken his metatarsal on his first full training session back.

“In the first 20 minutes he had problems with his kicks,” reported Ruud,
“but that was lack of confidence after the injury. He picked that up and
did well after a long time out.”

The coach also had a word for his captain. “Liam Bridcutt was outstanding
at centre-back. He's normally a midfield player, but had to play there.”

Chelsea took the lead after six minutes of the second-half. Finnish winger
Tomi Saarelma, who got the winner last week against Charlton as a
substitute, had started this time, and rewarded Ruud for his selection.
下半場六分鐘，繼上一場替補攻入致勝球後，芬蘭邊鋒薩爾馬再次進球。
“It was a great goal. Ricardo Fernandes went dribbling past one player in
the midfield and played a great pass inside the defender for Miroslav
Stoch to run on to, Miroslav hammered a great, low cross, and Tomi came in
from the left side and just had to touch it in. It was a great move.
費南德斯中場過人妙傳，斯托奇傳中，薩爾馬左線殺入破網得分。
“Tomi did his job well for the second week running. Not only was he
there, but he had to finish a cross from the right like that left-footed.
Tomi is right-footed and it was great use of the left foot.”
面對來自右線的傳中，擅長右腳的薩爾馬很好的運用了左腳。
As Southampton sought an equaliser, Chelsea had chances to double the
lead. Cummings hit the bar. “He had a really great game,” said Ruud,
“he did everything you could ask, but the ball wouldn't go in.”
隨後孔明擊中了橫樑，凱薩也為他感到可惜，他的發揮實在出色....
To try and get that goal he sent on Morten Nielsen at centre-forward with
Cummings moving to the right and Stoch to the left, but more chances were
missed.
之後尼爾森上場擔任中鋒，孔明調到右翼，斯托奇左翼。
Then, with just under 15 minutes left, Sergio Tejera scored one of the
goals of the season. “It was astonishing. He was 35 yards from goal, kept
the ball with the midfield player at his back, then flicked it up over his
head and the opponent's, turned round him, let it bounce and hit the ball
from 30 yards into the top corner. Unbelievable!
15分鐘後，特亞拉35碼山達拿迴旋過人，30碼怒射掛上角！！
“It was so hard, so tough. The goalkeeper didn't see it. I hardly saw it,
it went so fast.”
太可怕了.... 不論是門將還是教練都沒有反應... 因為太快了.....
But Chelsea relaxed and Southampton immediately scored. They pressured for
the last 12 minutes, but Chelsea hung on and could have scored again on
counter-attacks.
但隨後的放鬆讓聖徒扳回一球，不過我們的反擊也有進球的機會。
“The players are improving,” Ruud said with pleasure. There were no
bookings,. Next week they are at home to Fulham.
球員進步了，而且沒有吃牌，非常好。下一場要在主場迎戰被聖徒9-1狂電的富勒姆。
