Following hard on the heels of Andriy Shevchenko's first Stamford Bridge
goal and Michael Ballack's maiden Premiership strike at the weekend, there
was another scoring first at Blackburn on Wednesday. Salomon Kalou was
full of smiles after the game.
繼舍瓦和巴拉克後，卡盧也開胡了~~
‘It is good scoring my first goal for Chelsea. I have a good feeling,’
he told Chelsea's official radio partner Smooth FM 102.2 following the
final whistle.
打進了加入卻爾西後的第一球，這種感覺實在太棒了！
The goal was a good example of the goal poacher's art — following up to
knock in after Brad Friedel failed to hold a Shaun Wright-Phillips shot.
He was just obeying orders, according the scorer.
這球充分的說明了卡盧的球感 - 小賴特射門被門將擋出後的立即補射。
‘With the condition of the pitch, before the game the manager told me I
had to follow every shot because the field is really wet and the ball is
wet also,’ revealed the 21 year-old. ‘That is what I did because I
followed the shot of Shaun.’
原來老大早有命令，因為下雨，場地很濕球也很濕，大家盡量射門考驗門將。
Kalou's contribution to Chelsea's Carling Cup win wasn't restricted to the
goal. Playing for the first time as the central striker in a front three,
he was crucial in Joe Cole's opener — pulling to the right and beating
the Blackburn full-back before crossing for Cole to score.
卡盧的貢獻不只個人進球，小喬的進球來自於卡盧的右路切入傳中助攻。
‘It is true that I scored and I give the pass, but more important is the
team performance. We did well.
一傳一射是事實沒錯，但重點是球隊的狀態很好。
‘It is never easy to play a cup game because for a cup game, every team
wants to win and they give 100 per cent. It was difficult but we were
really focused on our game and with the quality that our team has, if we
are focused for a game, we always do well.’
打盃賽總是不容易，但只要專注在比賽上，通常我們都打得很好。
Kalou had proved he was in good scoring form with a hat-trick in a recent
reserve outing when again he played the central 'Drogba' role. After his
Blackburn goal, he credited his fellow Ivorian with giving him tips for
when in front of goal.
先前在預備隊的帽子戲法以及本場比賽的進球，都證明了卡盧可以勝任中鋒的角色。
Now Kalou will wait patiently for his next chance, aware of Chelsea's
heavy fixture programme ahead.
接下來的賽程非常吃緊，卡盧也靜待他的出場機會。
‘I am always ready and if there is an occasion to play, I will give my
best. Though I wait, I will be preparing for that.’
只要有上場機會，一定全力付出。
