There were two returns at the Bridge as well, with Joe Cole securing his first Barclays Premier League start of the campaign while Paulo Ferreira returned to league action as a second half substitute, his 100th league appearance in a Chelsea shirt. And there was also a debut as Jeffrey Bruma replaced Ricardo Carvalho for his first match, but out of all three, there was one who stood out for Ancelotti. 'I was impressed by Joe Cole, I know he works very hard and is a great professional,' said our Italian manager. 'After eight months it is not easy to play how Joe played today. 'I am happy for him and also happy for us because Joe is a great player. He is fantastic in midfield, he is a genius and he played very well.' Following defeat in our last League outing, today's comeback obviously pleased the Champions League-winning manager, especially as we defended well against set pieces.
