It was one-all in terms of wins last season although the Blues came out on top on goal difference, our 4-1 win in north London following a 2-1 defeat at the Bridge, but for the first time since the 1996/97 season, neither side finished in the top two. Now we return to Arsenal territory with Drogba recognising a power and a confidence in the Chelsea side he recognises from the championship-winning years. 'It is a bit like that. You feel strong even before you come out on to the pitch and when the team is losing or conceding goals, we keep believing in our chances,' he claims. 'Even in Porto this week we didn't play our best but still we created chances and ended up top of our group so this is a good season for us.' Wednesday's Champions League match saw the striker's return after missing the win over Wolves due to a rib injury suffered in the Man United victory. It was but a small interruption in a good campaign so far for the top scorer. 'We feel strong, that is the most important thing. I knew this season would be good for me. 'It would be a big statement to win this game but it is going to be a difficult game because Arsenal are playing very well at the moment. They look strong and they don't concede many. The game they played against Spurs they managed to win 3-0 even though they didn't play very well and that is the improvement. 'Arsenal has the kind of spirit like us as well and I think it is going to be a good game to watch. 'We need to maintain the gap. If we win it is difficult for them to come back but it is not impossible.' While Drogba will be looking to add to his very impressive record of eight goals against Arsenal, Ricardo Carvalho, if selected, will be aiming to keep the Gunners out, and he echoes his team-mate's thoughts. 'It is always difficult to play away at Arsenal and they are in a good moment also,' the centre-back says. 'Last year we beat them away but we didn't do enough against the top four. This year it has started well and we are more compact and we are strong physically and tactically.' --
