The 17-year-old starlet has been linked with the likes of Chelsea, Real Madrid, Juventus and Inter Milan in recent months having become one of the most sought-after players in Europe. Anderlecht's general manager Herman van Holsbeeck has confirmed that several top clubs have made enquiries about Lukaku. But he insists the Belgian outfit will hold out for the best possible price for the youngster, who has already made eight international appearances for Belgium. "There are only about 15 clubs around the world who can afford to pay for him," Van Holsbeeck told Belgian paper Het Nieuwsblad. "But if a club comes here with €20million, they will return from this trip empty-handed. We want more for Lukaku, much more." There is no rush for Lukaku to move abroad or for Anderlecht to cash in as he does not turn 18 until next May. Lukaku has already scored 22 goals in 48 appearances for the Belgian champions, and Van Holsbeeck insists he is happy to continue his development there for the foreseeable future. "The player has indicated he wants to stay in January," he added. "We will discuss it again in the summer but our attitude is certainly not to take the money and run.
