Magnay in action against Blackburn reserves
'Carl has gone back up north and I think he will probably sign at
Gateshead,' says Drummy.
'He was a wonderful lad to have around and showed a lot of great character
coming back from some serious injuries. He lived the dream for five years
after winning Football Icon and he'll be sorely missed because he's a
lovely, bubbly personality. The lads will miss him and we wish him all the
best.'
During his five years at Chelsea, Magnay made 40+7 reserve appearances,
scoring one goal, and played 16 youth games scoring three times.
