The names are below. Chelsea begin action in the tournament with a match against Ulsan Hyundai or Monterrey on Thursday 13 December, kick-off 7.30pm local (10.30am UK time). All the teams competing are now known with Japanese side Sanfrecce Hiroshima to play Auckland City in a play-off for the quarter-finals, the winners to then play African champions Al-Ahly for the right to face Corinthians in the other half of the draw to Chelsea.
