The Blues will head to Moscow for the return leg in the ascendancy following our victory at Stamford Bridge, where a Fernando Torres brace and a Victor Moses goal won us the match. Benayoun, who was replaced late in the game by Marko Marin, acknowledged the quality of our display, and urged his team-mates to finish the job next week. 'Before the game we knew it would be a difficult match because they don't concede many goals, they've only conceded three or four in the last 10 games,' he said. 'We started very well and after scoring we felt we could score three or four and finish the game, but it changed with the penalty, it gave them confidence and allowed them back in the game. 'It was important to score the third goal, it's a good result but we still need to complete the job next week and it will be very hard in Moscow.' It was the Israeli's third start of the season for the Blues, and he was a constant threat, producing a sublime piece of skill in the build-up to our third goal, flicking the ball over his own head before laying it into the path of Juan Mata, who eventually crossed for Torres to convert. Having spent the first half of the season on loan at West Ham United, Benayoun returned to Stamford Bridge in January, and his belief is growing with every appearance. 'John Terry said it was lucky because he gave me the ball and he said it hit my shin, but it was one of those things when you don't think, you just try it,' he explained. 'When you have confidence you try more, that's normal. 'It's not easy, there are a lot of good players here but I felt good. I felt sharp from the first minute, I was involved in the game and that gives you confidence. When the team plays well it's easier, you get involved and try more things, so it was good for me.' Benayoun also reserved a few words of praise for his team-mate and close friend Torres, who netted a goal in each half and gave the Rubin Kazan defence a difficult night.
