Speaking to Al Jazeera, Buck insisted the Blues are concentrating on the run-in on three fronts, and will make a decision at the end of the season. Chelsea travel to Rubin Kazan on Thursday for the second leg of their Europa League quarter-final ahead of their meeting with Manchester City at Wembley for the FA Cup semi-final on Sunday, as well as continuing their quiest to finish in the Premier League top four. 'We really haven't started that yet, we all have some ideas, and certainly Roman Abramovich is thinking about it, but at the moment we're concentrating on the end of the season,' said Buck. 'We're really trying to get top three or top four place in the Premier League so we get in the Champions League next year. That's really important for us and of course we're still in two big competitions - UEFA cup and FA cup - so I think the real search for a new manager will begin once the season ends in the middle of May.' Asked about possible successors to the club's interim manager Rafael Benitez, with Real Madrid Mourinho mentioned, Buck said: 'I am completely open minded about it.' Mourinho, whose Real Madrid side progressed to the Champions League semi-finals last night despite losing 3-2 to Galatasaray, was sacked by Chelsea in 2007 after leading the club to back-to-back league titles, and has stated his love for the club and the city of London. The 'Special One' revealed today that he will discuss his future with the Spanish giants at the end of the season. 'When the season ends I will sit down with who I have to sit down with, who as well as being the president is also my friend and is the legal and emotional representative of all Real Madrid fans,' he said. 'We will sit down quietly and talk about my future, like two friends.' --------------------------------------------------------------------------- http://www1.skysports.com/football/news/11668/8629684/ Jose Mourinho not out of running for Chelsea manager's job, says Bruce Buck Last Updated: April 10, 2013 5:20pm .... Abramovich will be look for a 10th manager since he bought the club in 2003 but Buck denies that the club have been too eager to dismiss previous bosses. Buck said: "I know we have fired what most people would say are a lot of managers - terminated the relationship is a better way to describe it - but we've always thought long and hard when we've done it. It's always difficult, it's always sad when a relationship is terminated. "We don't look back, we always look forward and see where we're going, and figure out how we get there. We certainly believe in stability in managers, but it has to be with the right manager." -- http://jamescaesar.pixnet.net/album/photo/110781933 永遠以摸過它為榮 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 36.231.128.144
