Unsurprisingly, with such a congested fixture list Rafael Benitez once again
makes a number of changes to the side from the previous game.
With both Ashley Cole and Ryan Bertrand unavailable, there is a rare start
for Paulo Ferreira at left-back, while captain John Terry also returns to the
side.
In midfield, 18-year-old Nathan Ake makes only his second start alongside
Frank Lampard, with Ramires playing in a more advanced role wide on the right.
With Juan Mata and Eden Hazard both starting on the bench, there are
opportunities for Yossi Benayoun and Victor Moses, while Fernando Torres
starts up front.
