As winners of their group, in which the opponents mirrored those of the first team's in the Champions League, the young Blues were guaranteed a home draw. Unlike the senior competition, this Round of 16 game is one leg only. Another difference is the draw being made for subsequent rounds and should they progress, details of who Under-19s will play are listed below. The date for the tie with Zenit is to follow.
