Davey extends Scunthorpe loan

Alex Davey has today extended his loan spell at Scunthorpe United until
the end of the season.
The 20-year-old initially moved to Glanford Park at the end of November
and has made four appearances at the heart of defence for the League One
side.
Davey, a regular for our Under-21s this season prior to the switch,
recently signed a contract at Stamford Bridge until 2016.
He was part of the Chelsea Under-18 side which lifted the FA Youth Cup in
2012, while the following season he played in every game of both the Youth
Cup and NextGen Series.
Davey has earned international recognition for Scotland Under-19s.
