U18聯賽第17輪精華 http://www.chelseafc.com/news/latest-news/2015/01/ under-18s-report--chelsea-5-norwich-0.html Under-18s report: Chelsea 5 Norwich 0 Sat, 24 Jan 2015 Our Under-18s remained top of the Under-18 Premier League with a win at Cobham today [Saturday]. Hubert Adamczyk fired them ahead shortly after the half-hour mark with a close-range finish before substitute Kyle Scott's strike from 25 yards (pictured above) gave Joe Edwards' team a two-goal advantage at the break. Second-half goals from Miro Muheim and a brace from substitute Tammy Abraham sealed the victory for the hosts and, following the Under-21s' victory at West Ham the previous evening, ensured it was a good weekend for the Academy. == Team news == There were four changes from the side that drew 1-1 at West Brom in the last outing the previous Monday, with Faiq Bolkiah and Miro Muheim coming into the team in attack. Bolkiah led the line up front supported by Muheim from the right and Hubert Adamczyk from the left. Under-16 Jared Thompson started in goal, protected by a back four of Charlie Wakefield, Ali Suljic, George Brady and Josh Grant. Ruben Sammut captained the side in midfield alongside Mukhtar Ali and Isaac Christie-Davies. == First half == The visitors began the game with a high intensity and came close to capping off a bright start with a goal after three minutes. A shot from Benny Ashley-Seal was blocked well but wideman George Couzens' low drive bounced back off the post and into the grateful arms of keeper Thompson. The Blues grew into the game over the course of the opening 20 minutes and began to test Aston Oxborough in the Norwich goal. Sammut advanced to bring a routine save from the stopper before Adamczyk stabbed an effort narrowly over the bar after enterprising build-up play from Ali and Grant. Muheim forced another comfortable stop from Oxborough before the Switzerland youth international took aim at goal once again, this time with a low strike that hit the inside of both posts before Adamczyk pounced to steer home the rebound from close range. Couzens had an opportunity to respond instantly as he ran at Brady and Suljic, although his final effort was tame and gathered routinely by Thompson. Kyle Scott was introduced off the bench 10 minutes before the break and his impact was significant. He harried Norwich defenders and midfielders in possession before doubling the home side's advantage with an arrowing drive into the top corner from 25 yards out. == Second half == Norwich probed for a route back into the game after the restart but their endeavours were contained well by a hard-working and committed Blues effort. When they won the ball back, Edwards' team remained a threat in attack and a lovely move fashioned on the right flank worked an opening for Wakefield to run at the Canaries' defence. He advanced well and then supplied a pass to Bolkiah on the left, whose strike at goal brought a good low save from Oxborough. Joe Crowe blocked Adamczyk's effort bravely on the edge of his penalty area before Devante Aransibia's well-struck shot forced Thompson into a stop down low to his left. As in the first period, the hosts created more clear-cut chances after 15 minutes of action and they grabbed a third goal after an hour. Muheim picked the ball up 25 yards out and arrowed a brilliant drive beyond Oxborough and into the top corner via a very slight deflection. Thompson raced off his line to thwart the danger as Couzens advanced towards goal with the ball at his feet. Then substitute Abraham entered proceedings from the bench and notched his 22nd goal of the season. His strength was demonstrated as he shrugged off the challenge of a defender before drilling a ferocious effort inside the near post. Brady defended well on the line in the closing minutes to clear full-back Louis Ramsay's effort from the right before Abraham struck a fifth goal after beating the offside trap and finishing confidently into the far corner of Oxborough's goal. Next up for the youth team is an FA Youth Cup fifth round encounter with Swansea City on Wednesday 28 January at Aldershot. The Under-21s are next in action at Stamford Bridge as they host Southampton on Monday 2 February. Tickets are currently available to purchase online.
