Chelsea Football Club is delighted to announce we have reached an
agreement with FC Augsburg for the transfer of Abdul Baba Rahman.
切爾西足球俱樂部很高興宣佈就阿卜杜勒˙巴巴˙拉赫曼的轉會與奧格斯堡達成協議。
The 21-year-old Ghanaian international was a member of his country's
Africa Cup of Nations squad which finished runners-up to Ivory Coast in
February.

Rahman said: 'I am very happy to sign for Chelsea, one of the biggest
clubs in the world, and I can't wait to train with my new team-mates and

Rahman, a pacy and attacking full-back who can also operate as a
midfielder or winger, made more successful tackles than any other player
in the Bundesliga last season. He also attempted the most crosses from the
left flank.

He arrives after one season with Augsburg, in which he helped them qualify
for the Europa League, making 31 league appearances.

Rahman previously spent two seasons with Greuther Furth in Germany, having
been spotted as a youngster with Asante Kotoko in his homeland.

Abdul Baba Rahman will wear the Chelsea number 17 jersey.
The 21-year-old Ghanaian completed his move from Augsburg on Sunday to
become the Blues' third summer signing after Asmir Begovic and Radamel
Falcao, and will provide competition for places in the back four.
Chelsea's previous 17s include Eden Hazard, Jose Bosingwa and Albert
Ferrer. It was worn last season by Mohamed Salah.

根據之前的消息，巴巴的轉會費最大可以達到2000萬英鎊，他將和切爾西簽約5
年，週薪7.6萬英鎊。據披露，巴巴的轉會費為起始1400萬英鎊，根據出場次數最大
可以追加600萬英鎊，具體為每20場追加100萬英鎊，最多500萬英鎊，達到100次出場
後再追加100萬英鎊。

The Barclays Premier League champions, who lost 3-0 at Manchester City on
Sunday, will sign the Ghanaian on a five-year contract for an initial fee
of ￡14million.
The deal will see a further ￡3.5m paid in bonuses depending on Chelsea
performances, ￡700,000 after the 21-year-old completes 20 games and a
further ￡3.5m after he has made 100 appearances — meaning the total
value of the deal could reach almost ￡22m.
