John Swift has today joined Championship side Brentford on a one-month
loan.
An attacking midfielder, Swift was part of our Under-21 team which won the
league in 2013/14, and he was handed his Chelsea first-team debut on the
final day of the same season away at Cardiff City.
The 20-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Swindon
Town in League One, where he made 14 appearances and scored two goals.
Swift has featured regularly for our Under-21s this season and scored the
first of our four goals in a Premier League International Cup win over
Liverpool last month.
