The group-stage opponents for two competitions in which our development
squad will participate in this season have been confirmed.
Adi Viveash's side will take part in the Football League Trophy this
season for the first time after the club accepted an invitation from the
English Football League.
本季維維亞許將首次帶隊 (U21) 參加足球聯盟盃。
Following a revamp of the competition, on a trial basis for the 2016/17
campaign, 16 Category One development teams will take part alongside the
48 League One and League Two clubs in an initial regionalised group stage.
該項賽事最近改制，16支第一級青訓隊將加入48支英甲、英乙球隊大亂鬥。
The draw for the group stage has placed the young Blues alongside the
senior sides of League One Swindon Town and Oxford United, as well as
League Two Exeter City in Southern Group C. Teams play each other once
either home or away before the top two progress to the knockout round.
小組賽將跟英甲史雲頓、英甲牛津聯、英乙埃克塞特城進行主或客場共三戰，頭兩名
小組出線。
We face Swindon Town at the County Ground in the week commencing 12
September before a trip to Exeter's St James's Park in the week commencing
17 October. The group concludes with a game against Oxford United in the
week commencing 7 November. Further fixture details will be announced on
this website in due course.
The final will be played at Wembley in April 2017. Development teams are
required to field a minimum of six 'Under-21' players in each starting
line-up.

The young Blues will also participate in the Premier League International
Cup once again this season and the draw for the group stage has been made.
We will face Swansea City, Dinamo Zagreb and Feyenoord in Group D of the
expanded continental competition. Fixture details will be announced
shortly on this website.
另外本季依然參加英超國際盃，將和斯旺西城、薩格勒布迪納摩、費耶諾德在D組。
Our youngsters reached the semi-finals of the competition last season
before they were beaten by PSV Eindhoven. Despite an increase in the
number of teams involved, the format remains unchanged; teams face each
other once, either at home or away. The group winners, plus the two best
placed runners-up, advance to the quarter-finals.
去年英超國際盃在四強戰輸給PSV。本屆賽事球隊變多，但賽制不變，小組賽頭名加上
兩個成績最好的第二名晉級淘汰賽。
