In our latest weekly round-up of Chelsea players out on loan, there is a
goalscoring milestone in the Netherlands, a man of the match performance
in Russia and plenty of action at both ends of tables around Europe…

Ross Barkley played his first full game in over three months as Aston
Villa took maximum points home from his former club Everton. The
midfielder put in a lively performance, striking the base of the post with
one low left-footed strike from range.

Villa scored in each half to secure a 2-1 victory, which keeps them still
in the chasing for a European qualification place, having closed the gap
to the Toffees in eighth to four points.
There was less optimism for Conor Gallagher and West Bromwich Albion as
the Baggies picked up just a point at home to Wolverhampton Wanderers. The
21-year-old was energetic and productive in the middle of the field in
relentless rain at the Hawthorns.
His best moment came in the second half when he was denied an equaliser by
Rui Patricio and, despite the hosts eventually levelling with half an hour
to play, they were unable to find the winner their battle for survival
desperately needed. With three games left, the gap to safety is now 10
points.

Gallagher was denied a goal in the Hawthorns rain by a brilliant save
Napoli's hopes of playing Champions League football next season took a
dent as they dropped points against struggling Cagliari in Serie A
courtesy of a stoppage-time concession. Tiemoue Bakayoko started on the
bench and played the final 10 minutes but was unable to help Gennaro
Gattuso's side hold on.
The draw leaves them two points behind three teams – Atalanta, Juventus
and AC Milan – in a close battle for a top-four finish, with Inter Milan
crowned champions this weekend.
Lazio are also hanging into that fight and sit three points further back
following a dramatic 4-3 victory against Genoa in Rome. Davide Zappacosta
started at left wing-back for the visitors, who remain five points clear
of the drop zone.

In Spain, Kenedy missed Granada's surprise midweek victory over Barcelona
with an ankle issue and his involvement three days later in a 1-0 defeat
to Cadiz was also hampered by injury.
After coming on at the break, the Brazilian lasted just over half an hour
before having to limp off in Andalusia. The result leaves Granada six
points from a European spot in La Liga with just four games remaining.
Lorient secured back-to-back victories to hand their chances of survival
in Ligue 1 a massive boost. Trevoh Chalobah featured in a back three as
Les Merlus beat Angers 2-0, leaving them with a four-point buffer above
the danger zone.

Armando Broja hit double figures for league goals scored in his maiden
season in senior football as the teenager notched the opener in Vitesse
Arnhem's 2-1 win against Zwolle.

He also had a second goal disallowed after the ball hit the arm of his
strike partner Lois Openda, though there was nothing taking away the young
striker's 10th of the campaign midway through the first half as he made a
clever run off the shoulder of the last defender and then finished
confidently when one-on-one with the goalkeeper. Vitesse are five points
off a Champions League qualifying berth with three games to play in the
Eredivisie.

At the other end of the table, Juan Castillo was a late substitute for
ADO Den Haag in a 3-2 win against Feyenoord. However, they remain bottom
and six points adrift of safety. Marco van Ginkel was himself a
stoppage-time arrival as PSV Eindhoven drew 2-2 with Heerenveen on a day
that saw Ajax crowned Dutch champions.
Jamal Blackman (pictured top) kept his place in the Rotherham United side
for both Championship fixtures this week, a 1-0 defeat at Brentford
followed by a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers. In the latter, he made
two key saves with his side already behind that proved crucial in them
earning a point.

The Millers can still decide their own fate in the final week of the
season, with a game in hand against Luton Town before the final day on
Saturday. They are three points behind Derby County, who face fellow
battlers Sheffield Wednesday on the final day.
In League One, Jon Russell played in Accrington Stanley's 3-3 draw with
Portsmouth and the weekend stalemate with Charlton Athletic, which
finished 1-1. Ian Maatsen was also involved in that game in his more
familiar left wing-back role, having operated at right wing in a 2-2 draw
against Crewe Alexandra a few days earlier. The Addicks still have hopes
of reaching the play-offs as they sit four points away with a game in
hand.

Jon Russell in action for Accrington
Jamie Cumming was powerless to prevent Stevenage earning more than a point
as they drew 3-3 with Crawley Town courtesy of a last-minute goal.
Trabzonspor remain on course for a place in the inaugural Europa
Conference League next season as Lewis Baker helped them to a 1-1 draw at
Goztepe in the Turkish Super Lig, despite playing the final 23 minutes
with a man down. They now need one win from their final three games to
secure qualification, a successful turnaround following their early-season
struggles.
Lower down the table, Danny Drinkwater featured for over an hour as
Kasimpasa moved out of the relegation places and two points from danger
with three matches remaining.
Baba Rahman will take part in the Greek Cup final with PAOK after they
defeated AEK Athens 2-1 in the second leg of their semi-final tie to set
up a showpiece showdown with Olympiacos.

Moses, pictured scoring earlier in the season, notched two assists for Spartak
Victor Moses was named man of the match after setting up both goals in an
important win for Spartak Moscow as they beat Arsenal Tula 2-1 to move
above city rivals Lokomotiv into the final Champions League qualifying
spot in Russia. There are two games remaining for Spartak to hold on to
their narrow one-point advantage.

Anderlecht have ground to make up in the title play-offs in Belgium but
started with a 2-2 draw at Club Brugge in which Matt Miazga played
throughout.
Danilo Pantic came off the bench in Cukaricki's 4-2 victory against
Mladost in Serbia, although their season is effectively over with
qualification for the Europa Conference League already assured.
