Williams wasn't selected in the 2014 NBA draft, but he was someone the Bulls had on their radar as he agreed to play for their SL team the day after the draft. He measured 6' 3.75" and 182 pounds at the 2014 Draft Combine, and Draft Express conducted this interview with him: Williams paricipated in the Clipper's Mini Combine on May 22, and DX's Mike Schmitz had this to say about Williams: After an average showing at the NBA Combine, Kendall Williams was a mixed bag on Wednesday, showing his streaky shooting with a couple of bad misses (one a foot right) while also finishing in transition and showcasing his passing ability with a pair of flashy dimes. He's not a great defender either, leaving NBA teams to ponder exactly what his role might be at the pro level, despite an excellent college career. Williams was a four-year starter at New Mexico, and during his senior year he was 7th in the Mountain West Conference in points per game, 1st in assists per game and 2nd in steals per game. He is also the MWC's all-time leader in assists and minutes played. Kendall Williams, like most undrafted players, probably won't make the Bulls opening night roster, but he does have the size and experience that Thibs and GarPax look for in a young player.
