A-JAX的三振之旅在今天終止~~ but連續18場已經寫下MLB的新紀綠!!! 前一位是某位投手的樣子這種紀錄破一次就好.... 剛好今天也有討論A-JAX表現還有跟Grandy的比較我只擷取其中一段 he strikeouts are a concern but they would be a bigger concern if he was not also on a pace to get 219 hits. It's been feast or famine for Jackson in April. The speedy outfielder has 27 hits and 32 strikeouts in 83 at bats. So, he has had only only 24 at bats that have been not hits or strikeouts. That translates into a .500 batting average on balls in play (BABIP). If you've heard people say that a .500 BABIP is not sustainable,it's because no player has finished above .400 since Jose Hernandez had a .404 BABIP for the Brewers in 2002. 83AB-(27支安打+32張老K) = 只有24AB是其他方式出局, 形成.500 BABIP的結果你應該已經聽過這種成績不可能一直持續下去, 上一位在完整球季BABIP超過.400 要回溯到2002年釀酒人的Jose Hernandez,該季以.404 BABIP坐收 (一位到處流浪的工具人生涯平均BABIP.324, 那一季真是神功附體了) The stats, odd as they are at the moment, should all even out in the end, as I doubt Jackson will continue to be so blatantly feast or famine, all or nothing at the plate.Once the BABIP starts to drop, and it most definitely will, we have to hope the strikeouts drop as well. 三振OR安打 / all or nothing, (怎麼不是像費城人的Howard 三振or全壘打XDD) 這樣的表現A-JAX到底能維持多久?? 當BABIP開始下修,當然這絕對會發生 (沒有發生的話讓我們見識到一位菜鳥打破三振跟BABIP歷史紀錄也挺好的~~) 讓我們一起來禱告三振可以隨著BABIP一起走下坡.....
