For Dodger Stadium, the reason why it is a "pitchers' park" has nothing to do ( or says, a little things to do ) with preventing the HRs by long distance of OF poles. It protects the pitchers because of its vastly, endlessly foul territory. Moreover, the "Blue" gives each hitter a too saturated view so that one may not hit the ball pretty well. In a nutshell, Dodger Stadium distorts the probability of occurences of extra-base hits. In recent 2 years, Dodger roster has been dismantled twice. Dodger Stadium subsequently has been made two major renovations. Considreing the repainting of the seats, the "getting closer to foul line" bleacher, newcomers have yet a chance to get used playing in Dodger Stadium and its aspects were modified again. And then, more newcomers were brought in . Under these circumstances, I am not convinced that Dodgers "do" have their awarded home field advantage.
