Everton v Standard Liege: Preview 比較重要的有 Leon Osman 應該可以復出上場 新同學Marouane Fellaini 則無法在UEFA Cup上場(因為在為上月Liege與利物浦的資格 戰中已上場過 ) Updated: September 17, 2008, 6:11 PM UK Leon Osman could return for Everton in their UEFA Cup clash against Standard Liege tomorrow night. The midfielder has been rated as 50/50 and will undergo a fitness test on his knee injury before the match. New team-mate Marouane Fellaini is cup-tied after playing for Liege in their Champions League qualifier against Liverpool last month. Steven Pienaar (ankle), Andy van der Meyde (hamstring), Tony Hibbert (cruciate knee ligament), Joseph Yobo (ankle) and Louis Saha (calf) all still require further treatment and are unavailable. Everton manager David Moyes is undecided about whether to contest his Football Association misconduct charge resulting from his sending-off on Sunday. Moyes was sent to the stands during the 3-2 victory over Stoke at the Britannia Stadium for arguing with referee Alan Wiley over a handball by Stoke defender Leon Cort. Wiley gave a free-kick outside the penalty area for the offence, although replays showed the offence clearly took place inside the box. Following his dismissal the Scot has now been charged for his behaviour on the touchline and given until October 2 to respond. Speaking at the press conference prior to Everton's UEFA Cup clash with Standard Liege, Moyes said he had yet to make up his mind about his next move but revealed Wiley had contacted him for a chat about the incident. The Everton boss would not discuss the contents of the conversation but said Wiley now had "a great deal more respect'' from him after picking up the phone. "Contesting it? I am not sure yet, I have not made a decision on that,'' said Moyes on his FA charge. "The FA have to do their job, I have to do my job, I had my opinion at the time. The referee has since contacted me - that conversation will remain private - and that is it. "We have a Respect campaign that is really important but you can't just put a big label on it. "You earn respect and I have to say the referee has earned a great deal more respect from me by what he has said from me.'' -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.57.149.217
