Adam Dunn will miss up to five days following an emergency appendectomy early
Wednesday morning.
Dunn had White Sox head trainer Herm Schneider drive him to a Kansas City
emergency room following Tuesday's extra-inning loss to the Royals. It's a
tough break for the big slugger, but similar to Matt Holliday, hopefully
he'll be able to avoid a stint on the disabled list. Look for Lastings
Milledge to receive more playing time over the next few days with Carlos
Quentin potentially moving into the DH-spot.
