Jose Bautista will have season-ending surgery on his left wrist.
That's too bad. Bautista missed a month with inflammation in the wrist before
coming back on Friday, but he was placed right back on the disabled list
after aggravating the injury during Saturday's game. He's expected to need
about four months of rehab, so it sounds like he'll be ready to rock for
spring training next year, though it's worth wondering what impact the
surgery will have on his power in the short-term.
