The New York Post confirms that Zack Wheeler is "not far away" from being
promoted to the Mets.
Wheeler struggled in his first start Thursday, but remains on track to make
his major league debut with the Mets this season. "He's in the same spot
[Matt] Harvey was at last year, I would say," Triple-A manager Wally Backman
said. "I think it’s going to be a matter of consistency."
