"He’s still sore, even after the shot," Cashman said in a telephone
interview Monday afternoon. "So our doctors are obviously working through it,
trying to analyze the situation. It’s clearly not a good situation."
"He’s experiencing soreness, still, so we’re working through that now with
our doctors," Cashman said. "He’s not responding to the shot. So we’re
working through that."
The undertone did not need to be amplified. The wrist is not getting better.
Surgery is still a possibility. And the Yankees may be forced to grind
through the rest of this season without Teixeira.
